“Coward?” replied Mr. Crip to one of the many questions that were still being thrown at him by the aggressive reporters. “Snowy is no coward!”

“Then how do you explain his running away and not fighting?” asked the fox.

“Yeah!” “Yeah!” said the other animals together.

“Er, not everybody who runs is a coward…” responded Mr. Crip.

“Oh, yeah?” asked the fox. “What do you call him then? A marathon runner?”

“Ha, ha, ha!” exploded the other animals in laughter.
